Glenmaye is a small relay site intended to cover Glenmaye village and surroundings which lie in a valley and so would otherwise have difficulty receiving a TV signal even though the transmitter on Beary Mountain is relatively nearby. The site relays a signal from Beary which is, in turn, fed from Douglas.
