This was a very dull day with my travels taking me from Fort William to Grantown-on-Spey, the area where the tv series Monarch of the Glen was recorded. The tower stands high on Laggan Hill to the west of the town. The day I was there the Cairngorm summits were white with snow and that night when staying in Grantown 8inches of snow fell.
