Comments: Great Missenden is a relay of Crystal Palace

The site is right in the middle of ‘Rock Wood’, which is a Forestry Commission protected area. Access is via a ½ mile track through the trees, which was gated and padlocked, so I had to walk it!

Didn’t notice the access track at first, until I saw the small Crown Castle signs that were screwed onto it. Being in the middle of a wood.

It was surrounded by trees, and these are the best photos I could get, but you can clearly see the transmitting arrays, pointing roughly westwards towards Great Missenden, and the receive trough on the south side of the tower for the Crystal Palace RBL . Lots of Crown Castle signs adorn the buildings, along with some from Dolphin, and NGW.
