Hampstead Heath is a low power relay consisting of a pair of log periodics on top of the roof of the north side of the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead. The ground slopes downwards to the north of the hospital buildings, before rising up again to form Parliament Hill, leaving a pocket of bad reception in the service area of Crystal Palace.

Unusually for a TV relay, Hampstead Heath transmits with horizontal polarisation.

The recieve log periodic is actually located a fair distance away from the transmit aerials, on the south side of what is a fairly large building.
