Comments: Harborne is a relay of Sutton Coldfield

Harborne is a low power relay serving the suburbs of Ridgeacre and Harborne itself, to the south west of Birmingham city centre.

It is a slightly odd arrangement in that BBC1 and ITV1 are transmitted at a power of 10W whereas BBC2 and C4 are on 40W. Presumably this is either to ensure intereference limitation or to ensure similar coverage at the higher frequencies.

The wide channel spacing means that Group W wideband aerials are needed for good reception of all four channels.
