Heolgerrig is an area to the West of Merthyr Tydfil, and thre are two towers on the top of Aberdare Mountain (Mynnydd Aberdar). We're only interested in one - from where Real Radio is broadcast on 105.9.
At first I was a bit perplexed - there seems to be a complete lack of broadcast aerials of any kind - but then I noticed a Band-II yagi pointing South-West into the Aber valley, and what looks like an end-fed dipole on the Merthyr side of the building - could these be the answer?
