Comments: Hope is a relay of Emley Moor (via Tideswell Moor and Shatton Edge)

This is a 15W relay of Shatton Edge which is just under two miles away, itself a relay of Emley Moor. Well, the people who are living in Hope have to get their tv signals from somewhere! (Sorry!)

This is a low-key little site in a field, with no access track or even a CCI sign.

Shatton Edge is much higher power (1kW) and is some 168m higher than this relay, and provides coverage to Hope village itself. This relay seems to exist to provide coverage for the villages of Bradwell (which is shielded by the side of the steep hill Shatton Edge stands on) and parts of Castleton, judging by the TX aerials. Unfortunately trees prevented me from getting a picture with both transmitters on.
