It's April 2007 and work is underway at Huntshaw Cross to replace the BBC's old Band II aerials with new ones which also include Band III dipoles for the BBC's DAB service.

The latest pics from Huntshaw Cross reveal what looks like a pair of Sira Band II aerials just below the UHF cylinder. I am speculating that these are being used temporarily to radiate the FM services while the BBC's aerials are being replaced.
