Comments: Ipswich is a relay of Sudbury

The Ipswich UHF TV relay, which is located right in the centre of the town, on top of the Borough Council building. It's a pretty standard array, one horizontal receive log aimed at Sudbury, and two pairs of crossed vertical transmit logs (one pair pointing SW, the other SE), which appear to illuminate quite a large portion of the town (judging by the number of group A vertically polarised domestic aerials I spotted)... pretty good for a 7W relay!

Since these photos were taken the relay appears to have been moved 200m south from the Borough Council building to the AXA building, as the Civic Centre is understood to be scheduled for demolition.
