Comments: Relay of Bilsdale

Limber Hill, overlooking the village of Glaisdale to the West and Egton to the East is one of four transmitters along the Esk Valley in North Yorkshire - Whitby, Aislaby, Limber Hill and Castleton (A more recent addition built in the late 80's and not to be confused with Castleton in Derbyshire).

Whilst Bilsdale provides a good strong signal across the moors, much of its power is shrouded from many of the villages in the Esk valley by the steep "U" shaped glaciated valleys, and Limber Hill provides coverage for areas such as Egton Bridge, Grosmont, Glaisdale and Lealholm.
