The Little Shurdington site is very
typical of ILR MF sites.
In this case it uses a capacitative "top hat" to correct some mismatch, but most of it is corrected by an aerial tuning unit. It also uses a parasitic deflector system to direct the radiation pattern away from Kent, since BBC Radio Kent is on the same frequency'. |
