Comments: Llandrindod Wells is a TV relay of Carmel and an FM relay of Wenvoe. More recently the two BBC DTT MUXs are now line-fed, leaving only D3&4 RBL from Carmel.

TCPD is not sure of the date this photo was taken but it shows the Band I, Band II and Band III antennas.

From the size of the Band III receiving antennas the incoming signal must have been marginal.

This mast was used when the UHF service was added in 1976, but subsequently a new tower was built.

Band II receiving aerials still seem to be on one of two wooden poles at the site so I'm guessing that the Band II transmitting aerials were originally on the second pole.
