David Neale sets the scene with this shot of storm clouds gathering over Llangollen...

These are two of three radio towers on the same hilltop, all within a few hundred metres of each other. (The third tower appears to be just a PMR jobbie. It's relatively small and is not shown.)

BT site: NGR SJ212492. Big antennas appear to point at other BT microwave sites at Pale Heights, Cheshire and (probably) Albrighton, Shropshire.
