Comments: Llanidloes is a relay of Blaenplwyf (via Llangurig Link, Long Mountain and Llandinam)

The site is an old one - used to have 405-line TV in the olden days (BBC Wales on ch13).

The bearing of the TV RBL aerials seems to suggest Llandinam as a source rather than Long Mountain. Neither are excluded on channel considerations.

The FM RBL is 'take your choice' - the bearings of both Wenvoe and Llandrindod Wells are just about the same. The Wenvoe freqs are closer to Llanidloes (400kHz) than are Llandrindod (1MHz) and Llandrindod Wells looks a better bet in many ways - and L.W. would have been used as the source for the 405-line relay too.

At the top of the mast two panel UHF aerials illuminate the town.

Immediately below, 4 slant dipoles producing omni(ish) cover for FM.

Much further down (just above the platform) 2xVP yagis (not logs) on a bearing of roughly 80deg magnetic.
