RM: You will see there are two horizontal RX yagis near the base of the tower. One points towards the Mapperley direction which probably forms part of a stand-by feed. The station must be line fed as it carries different opt-outs at times. The other points towards Holme Moss and is presumably used to receive RDS data.

RS (July 2010): The Mansfield site serves the town of Mansfield in West Nottinghamshire.

It carries several FM services and recently DAB, which is at the top of the busy tower.

Pics are included of the site istelf and the DAB antennas.

It was a very windy day on what is a site that's more exposed than you realise when you park up near it!
