Comments: Melling is a relay of Winter Hill (via Lancaster)

Melling transmits with both vertical and horizontal polarisation. There's a stack of 4 vertical dipoles plus a couple of horizontal logs pointing south towards the village of Wray.

 

The vertically polarised rx log is pointing SW towars Lancaster which is 24 kilometres distant.
