Some pics of 7 Waves Community Radio on 92.1MHz in the Wirral.
The antenna is hand made by Bernie Wright of Eastern Analog & RF in Cambridge.
The vertical element has a gain of 1:1 and the horizontal element has 3dB of gain but is attenuated at the output of the combiner. The overall gain of the antenna after the combiner is 1.6dB.
Ofcom commissioned this antenna in Feb 2008 and were very pleased with its performance.
In the background of pic 3 you can see 2 shrouded yagis, the top one is for the main STL RX, the other is for the radio car RX on 442MHz and Cue+TB TX on 141MHz. The 8 element yagis was a temporary STL on 860MHz
