Comments: Relay of Ridge Hill

The New Radnor transmitter serves a very rural area with a small population.

This transmitter takes its feed from Ridge Hill in Herefordshire, as it is not possible to receive any Welsh transmitters in this area at all.

In New Radnor there are still some redundant MBM88's and XG21's at the bottom of gardens and on hillsides, reception in this area would have been almost impossible before the relay was built.
