Pencader TX is located no the North-North-East of the town of the same name. There is a footpath accross the field past the site, and an access track to the side of this TX. I choose the footpath first, but quickly had to jimmy over the fence rather sharpish - some very angry rams soon saw to that! Hmmmm... got me thinking of new film titles.... "Ewe go mad", "Sheep on a plane", "Shawn of the dead"... anyway.... I used the access track. The TX provides broadcasts to the area from a 4 cardoid stack at the very top of the tower. RX is achived by a single log periodic. Corporate branding seems to have gone somewhat astray here. |
