Comments: Plympton is line fed for the PSB MUX's, and is a relay of Caradon Hill for the COM MUX's. RBL NHT for BBC FM radio. Local DAB moved from 12A to 12D 25th Nov 2015

The first photo (left) was taken by Mark Carver in 1983 and shows a very sparsely populated tower.

The remaining photos were taken by Hedley Hope in 2005.

The usual main transmitting aerial is at the top of the mast of course, but just under this can be seen some additional UHF panels, maybe for Channel 5 and/or DTV.

The site is also used for ILR Plymouth and also National and local DAB services.

This is the view from the site looking across towards Staddon Heights and the masts there. This is where the BBC has a web camera which looks across the sound and is used for the backdrop on Spotlight, and also occasionally in the BBC Weather reports.
