Comments: Preston is a relay of Stockland Hill (via Weymouth)

Not Lancashire - Dorset!

Preston is a very small, low power (5W) relay of Stockland Hill for parts of Weymouth not covered by either Weymouth or Bincombe Hill.

Michael Curtis described the site as looking like "a portable toilet and small aerial". Now, having received the photos I must disagree - it looks like a portable toilet and three aerials!

April 2009, and John Staniforth reports that the site is ready for DSO:

There is a new cabin together with a satellite dish. Currently the station is fed from Stockland Hill via Weymouth, the direct signal being very poor at this location.

Don't be fooled into hinking the satellite dish is for a program feed - it's not.
