Scoval (and Uig) can be found lurking in the NW corner of the Isle of Skye. The first shot was taken from the nearby village of Husabost. Alas the weather was appalling. I promise I'll return one day when the sun is shining. I was able to drive my old bus right up to the transmitter, although it was really scary because of the steepness and the potholes. The site is on top of a mountain, and the whole thing was a real adventure, what with the blizzard and everything. I took the pictures in a brief moment of relative calm, but even so I had to kneel or lay down to use the camera. It was impossible to take a picture standing up!

Why are there trough and yagi receiving aerials here? Redundancy?

These are quite substantial buildings for a small, 160W site. Presumably a little wooden shed wouldn't last five minutes here!
