The Slad TV relay is in the middle of some farmland, and to get the close-up photos I had to do a bit of'walking where I shouldn't'! Some of the photos were taken in the summer and some in the autumn, and it's amazing how the field changes from green to brown. There is a mast visible on the horizon in acouple photos (to the left of the Slad mast) - this is the Stroud transmitter. Notice how Slad uses H pol for both RX and TX. Nailsworth uses the same channels vertically, so maybe this is done to minimise interference between the two. |
