Comments: Relay of Winter Hill

Here are a few pictures of Storeton taken in the middle of November 2003 The Storeton Transmitter is located on top of Storeton Hill in a wood, above the town of Bebington, Wirral.

The Transmitter is a relay of Winter Hill for Liverpool across the Mersey from the Wirral Peninsula. The Reflector at the back of the Digital Array blocks the Digital signal to the Heswall and Neston directions where it is possible to receive strong signal from The Wrekin (Although they receive the wrong region) this is also the probable reason for the reflector.

I use to live a lot closer to the mast than I do now (only about half a mile) I never needed an aerial - I got perfect reception with nothing attached to my TV!
