Comments: Sutton is a relay of Crystal Palace

Sutton is a low power suburban relay typically located on top of a block of flats in Sutton, south London.

The installation consists of a stack of four vertical dipoles pointing nominally north east. There is also a horizontally polarised service, provided from two log periodics pointing south.

The area isn't hilly, so it is likely that the signal from Crystal Palace is degraded in some way, perhaps by ghosting from the nearby gas works. The receive aerial is a log periodic pointing north east at Crystal Palace.
