There are no broadcast services from this site but it was used as part of the BBC's SHF distribution of their PCM network radio distribution. It picked up the signal from Whipsnade and relayed it to a further site at Meriden en route from Swains Lane to Sutton Coldfield.

The site was active in 1988 when these photos were taken but it may now be redundant.

Ben Smith visited this site more recently, on a day of dreadful weather in March 2008, and it's clear that the old link tower and dishes have now been removed...
