Comments: Relay of Winter Hill

Trawden sits at the bottom of the valley of Trawden Brook which causes the area to be shielded from both Winter Hill and the Pendle Forest relay which covers much of this area of Lancashire. The site is on farmland to the south of the village and transmits its signals in a predominately northern direction additionally covering Laneshaw Bridge and some parts of Colne.

There is both a 4 Yagi array and a vertically polarised trough to receive the feed from Pendle Forest. These can be seen just beneath and to the right of the transmission aerials.
