The big hill in the background is one of "Yr Eifl" chain, known in English as "The Rivals", because that's what the Welsh sounds like. "Yr Eifl" actually means "The Fork".
There's a BT microwave relay site visible as a bump on the left hand side of the mound. The strange appearance of the hillside is due to quarrying.

Notice the unusual use of a ganged pair of horizontal logs to reduce the acceptance angle. This site has clear line of sight to Llanddona, but has a line of near-mountains at about 45-60° off-beam to its right. There must be a fair amount of multipath to filter out.
