Usk was the last relay station to be brought into service as part of the public transmitter building programme, with an on-air date of 16 Dec 1998. Despite the lateness of the service date in comparison with other stations, it is pretty well used within the village of Usk and surrounding areas. It features a pair of crossed log periodics radiating approximately north west. Its RX feed is a pair of vertical logs pointing just south of west at Pontypool. |

The ruins of Usk castle can just be seen poking out of the top of the woody hillock above the town, centre left of frame.
