Comments: Relay of Crystal Palace

Wooburn

Wooburn is a medium power relay serving Bourne End, Flackwell Heath, Wooburn Green and Wooburn itself, just south of High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire.

The tower is located on a ridge to the east of the service area, in a nature reserve called Farm Wood.

Transmissions are from two arrays of four UHF panels. One array is pointing roughly north, the other roughly west. The RX antenna is a single log periodic on Crystal Palace, which was rather difficult to spot in amongst
all the mobile telephony festooned on the tower.
