WINTERBORNE STICKLAND

Photos by Robert Whittaker Page last updated: 2018-03-03

March 2006

Winterbourne Stickland is a high power TV relay of Rowridge, and is located on a ridge to the west of Blandford Forum in central Dorset.

Coverage appears to be for the town of Blandford which lies on the extremity of the Rowridge service area. The UHF cylinder is a cardioid facing east.

ReBroadcast Link is provided using a horizontal trough antenna on Rowridge.

The Bournemouth DAB multiplex also has antennas at this site, which point northeast towards Blandford.

Winterborne Stickland entered service on 5th March 1976, with Channel 4 from March 1986, and Bournemouth DAB from July 2002.
