June 2021 update

The earlier set of pictures predate DSO, 700 MHz band clearance and the addition of local TV. So Angus is overdue an update.

Dundee local TV entered service at Angus on 12-Apr-2017.

Main UHF

The band III DAB aerial antenna.

UHF reserve.

FM radio comprised of six Sira antennas.

Local TV transmit. 4 tiers of 90 degree crossed shrouded log periodics.

Local TV radiation pattern. Taken from Ofcom publication.

These two UHF log periodics are pointing towards Craigkelly and were probably used for RBS for the two BBC analogue channels.

Forfar which is about 5½ miles away.
