| Nigel writes:- Anne and I called in at Sandale site on the way home from spending a couple of days in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The quickest way to get to the site is driving through Carlisle and then taking the A595 road to Keswick then taking the B5299. When we came through Boltongate a sign said that the road ahead was closed due to resurfacing, follow diversion. If we had followed the diversion we would have missed the site. |
