| In many ways this is a 'typical' Community Radio install. A vertical end-fed dipole on a small guyed mast. However in this case the TX antenna is located on the roof the community centre which also houses the radio station studio (so no STL antennas to spot.) Rochdale lies in a valley, so Crescent Radio's signal doesn't travel very far beyond its target area, and where it does is limited by nature of its frequency allocation, being 0.1 and 0.2 MHz away from other stations in the central / south Manchester area. |
