DARLEY DALE

Photos by Rob Shufflebotham Page last updated: 2012-08-07

New Feed Arrangements - August 2012

Darley Dale is a small site in the Peak District, placed on the opposite side of Darley Dale to Stanton Moor, in order to fill the shadow of the hillside, and to provide enhanced coverage Northwards up the dale. The site is shared with 3, T-Mobile and Airwave.

The site is located behind some trees, away from the road

At the top we have a 4 pairs of crossed logs for transmit. Below that, the two yagis looking at the camera are the original direct feed from Waltham.

With the switch to digital, this feed must have become more marginal, as the site now relays via the nearby Stanton Moor, using the log periodic at the bottom
