THE TRANSMISSION GALLERY

HANGLETON

Photos by Dan Glover Page last updated: 2012-10-18

October 2012 - DSO changes

As at Patcham, Hangleton is now a relay of Whitehawk Hill, although this seems not to be the easiest of options, and probably accounts for Rowridge being the source originally

Whitehawk Hill transmits with vertical polarisation and therefore the new receive panel must contain VP internals

Changeable weather during my visit. The new receive antenna is quite prominent

If you stare at the centre of the panel long enough you will see a Sira logo - sideways!

New and old receive arrangements seen together. The transmit antenna is the single vertical log

The only change at ground level seems to be a coat of DSO Green paint
