Burgar Hill (1)

Burgar Hill was built by the IBA to serve about 270 people in an area along Eynhallow Sound on the north-east coast of Mainland, Orkney. It entered service on 16-Aug-1986 transmitting with vertical polarisation only. A horizontally polarised component was added in the mid 1990's.






Transmit at the top with the Keelylang Hill receive aerial lower on the left of this picture.


Transmit consists of two tiers of crossed vertically polarised log periodics, with two horizontally polarised logs below.
