The Lochinver relay was built by the BBC to serve about 300 people in Lochinver and around the head of Loch Inver including Baddidarach. It entered service on 19-Sep-1986.

As later visitors have noted, the Lochinver relay is at an ice production plant. The antennas are on top, with the equipment cabin underneath.








Editor's note: these look like "bow tie" dipoles rather than the type in the 2009 and 2010 photographs
