Just down the road from the former BBC transmitter site at Moorside Edge site is this little former IBA station which provides the ILR service for the Huddersfield and Halifax areas. Pennine Radio launched to this area on 4-Dec-1984 on 103.4 MHz and 1530 kHz. The FM frequency was changed to 102.5 MHz on 3-Sep-1985. The last photo shows the feeder cables arriving at the base of the mast.
