| Strachur entered service with 3 UHF TV channels during September 1980, with Channel 4 from July 1986. BBC FM radio was added on 23rd February 1983, with Radio's 1 & 4 from 3rd December 1993. Martin notes: "Originally there was a wooden pole for Band II and a lattice pole for TV. Later these were replaced for site sharers and a mobile phone company also built a site alongside" |
