Band I Low Power Television Station Combining Units Mark II:
General view of combining units in position behind the 500 watt transmitters.

We are proud to be supporters of the British moving coil meter industry.

The combining unit in question. It is not possible to read the legends on the panel, but it looks as if the system has two sound-vision combiners. The outputs of these are then combined and split to feed the two halves of the antenna. U-links provide comprehensive bypass arrangements for any part of the system.

T3 and T4 would be one sound and one vision transmitter.

Band I transmissions used positive modulation with white at full power and Sync pulses at close to zero.

Transmitters labelled as Standard Radio.
