| Standing high up above the town, and interestingly is situated next to a ruined church. The interest of this ruined church burnt by an arson attack back in July-1922 is that it houses the original tomb of Sir George Baskerville. (Update - the arson attack was actually in 1992 not 1922!). Buckfastleigh was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 9-Dec-1983 to serve 1,300 people. |
