I became aware that a new community station, Access FM was opening in Bridgwater with studios based at the local YMCA and with programmes presented by the young people there. The rationale for this being that young people gain experience of radio work and a route in to employment in the media. Staff carried out some of the technical work including installing studio equipment, links and transmitter and I asked for photos but was turned down on the grounds of site security for other users, though the station's web site still has a scene looking out over Bridgwater from the roof. The station is on 104.2 fm and on-line at www.aaaradio.co.uk

A change from the previous view in that the double dipole arrangement has gone, I was already told that by YMCA staff. One of these in this view must be The Breeze.

The shiny folded dipole on the left must be the aerial for Access FM
