With all due apologies to the people of Sunderland this is not exactly how I would have pictured the Sunderland relay. Here it looks distinctly rural... Sunderland entered service with 3 UHF TV channels on 3rd July 1981, with Channel 4 from July 1986. DSO was on the 12th and 26th September 2012.
