Situated in quite a woody location, this well populated mast is a bit difficult to photograph. It serves a section of the Holme Valley shielded from Emley Moor and the neighbouring relays of Hagg Wood and Holmfirth. Line of sight distance to Emley Moor is 5.5 miles. Armitage Bridge was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service in October 1979 to serve 1150 people. Channel 4 was added on 5-Dec-1986. DSO was on the 7 and 21-Sep-2011.
