Wear FM launched on 103.4 MHz from Haining on 5-Nov-1990. North East regional DAB was added on 31-Jul-2001. Closed 29-Jul-2013. The site is located on a farm and there's not much else around except cattle, windfarms and other communications towers.

DAB is from the two yagis on the tower in the foreground. What about Band II? The red object above the tower isn't an AWL but could be a Shively Labs mixed polarisation antenna inside a shroud...

...however the slim tower behind has a Sira or similar at the top. Ofcom has DAB at 35m and FM at 32m, which appears to confirm the use of both structures.
