MUDDIFORD

| There are the photos of the Muddiford relay, 5 miles north of Barnstaple in North Devon. The relay provides the small villages of Milltown and Muddiford which are screened completely from Huntshaw Cross or Caradon Hill. I have been told that before this relay was built residents in the area could only get a weak signal from Presely. There is an RX log for reception of Huntshaw Cross and a stack of aerials at the top of the mast for the transmission. There are also police airwave transmissions from this site. Access to the site was by a small footpath leading up to the mast. |
