TEDBURN ST MARY

| Tedburn St Mary provides a service to Tedburn and the nearby Woodlands Park and Pathfinder Village in Fingle Valley, both of which suffer poor reception from either Stockland Hill or Beacon Hill. Many residents in the area previously found that the best results were obtained by using high gain aerials for Huntshaw Cross. In ye olde dayes of analogue the BBC used Huntshaw Cross as their feed for the relay but in order to provide the correct sub-region ITV1 and Ch4 were fed from Beacon Hill. Tedburn St Mary is now fully fed from Huntshaw Cross. This former IBA landlord site entered service in the summer of 1991 and transmitted with a non-standard wideband channel allocation of 42/48/52/31. |
