Derbyshire DAB aerials added: Oct 2014

Martin visited the site on a sunny day in October 2014. DAB Tx aerials for the Derbyshire local service had been added, which entered service on the 10th October 2014.




From the top down we have the now disused Channel 5 UHF panels, then DAB aerials for both the Derbyshire (left) and Birmingham (right) services. Lower are the UHF panels used for the pre-DSO HD mux.






Left, the six band III log periodics for the Derbyshire DAB mux. Right, the two band III panel aerials for the Birmingham DAB mux.


Now disused, the pre-DSO HD mux, UHF panels.


The ILR Sira transmit aerial.


Lower down are the aerials of other non broadcast telecoms services.
