Calne was originally an IBA landlord site which entered service on 3-Mar-1978 to serve 8,300 people. Channel 4 was added in February 1984. DSO was on 24th March and 7th April 2010. BBC national FM radio entered service on 13-Mar-1992.

The twin 6 element band II yagis are pointing towards Wenvoe, the programme source for BBC FM radio at Calne.
